Doing quite a bit of work across state lines at the moment and have recently scaled down from the use of SharePoint sites for each project – managing client logins etc etc which turned out to be great but a bit of overkill – having endless opportunities and bits of functionality actuall distracted the project team from the core (and billable) work to be done. So we have moved to a SAAS collaboration app Basecamp. Another offering from those clever chaps at 37signals. Whilst being pretty basic and clunky in spots it does 90% of what is actually required from a project collaboration tool and is easy enough for clients to use without instruction.
All in all i give it 4 thumbs up. Nice one!
